FAQ

Here are answers to our most common questions on this topic.

Who can join Soundtrack’s research hub?

Anyone who works at or owns a business that plays background music for their customers or employees in a physical space (like a restaurant, shop or gym). You don’t need to be a Soundtrack customer.

What does a research study look like?

Studies can vary! You might test a prototype in a 45 minute video call, try out a new feature in a 10 min usability test or simply answer a short survey. All research is remote and can be done from anywhere.

What compensation will I receive?

Payment depends on the research study and how much of your time is invested. You’ll get information on the amount of compensation you’ll receive in the invite to participate. All compensation is provided in the form of digital gift cards through a global rewards platform offering thousands of vendors and brands. You can choose the option that suits you best.

How often will you contact me?

We’ll only contact you for research studies that match the details you gave us when signing up to our hub. No newsletter, no promo, no sales.

Can I opt out easily?

It's easy to exit. Every email we send will include a link you can use to leave the hub instantly.

How is my information handled?

All recordings and responses are for internal use only. We always ask for consent before recording and you can request account deletion at any time. We’ll never ask for sensitive or confidential business information.
